- The FOP Family Gathering moves to a different U.S. city each year that it's held, bringing the community together for several days of enriching education and opportunities to learn, share and connect with others living and coping with life with FOP. After this year's event, the next FOP Family Gathering will be held in 2027 in the Northeast region of the United States. Learn more about our shift to an every-other-year schedule.
- This year's agenda will include sessions where people living with FOP and their families can gain insightful knowledge and practical tools to advocate for themselves, manage their health, and live their best lives. The FOP Family Gathering provides opportunities to meet others in the community and to have their questions answered by leading experts in the field. The whole family is invited, and onsite childcare and children’s activities will be provided.

Logistical Support
Important Dates:
- Registration for the FOP Family Gathering will open on May 1, 2025 and close on October 31, 2025.
- The deadline to reserve a room at the Family Gathering hotel at our special group rate of $161/night (including taxes and fees) is October 17, 2025.
Hotel Information:
The 2025 Family Gathering will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Bloomington - Minneapolis South. The room rate for Family Gathering attendees will be $139/night ($161/night with taxes and fees.)
A link to book your hotel room at this special rate through the IFOPA booking link will be available in your registration confirmation email.
Please note: The IFOPA has reserved all of the accessible rooms at the hotel and will work directly with families to assign those rooms based on individual needs, which we request you share in your registration form.

The following budget is intended to help families in planning for the financial logistics associated with attending the 2025 FOP Family Gathering. The budget below anticipated costs for an individual with FOP and one caregiver.

Registration Rates
A portion of all family attendees' fees are underwritten by the IFOPA and reduced below the actual cost of attendance (which is more than $500 per person/adult and $200/child). Registration fees for family members are as follows:
- Individual with FOP: Complimentary
- 1st family, friend or caregiver: $115
- All other guests 16+: $165
- All other guests 5 to 15: $85
- Guests ages 0-4: Free

The window to apply for a travel and lodging stipend has closed.
