GoodSearch and GoodShop
What if the IFOPA earned a penny every time you searched the Internet? Well, now we can!

GoodSearch.com is a new search engine that donates half its revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. You use it just as you would any search engine, and it's powered by Yahoo!, so you get great results.

Just go to www.goodsearch.com and be sure to enter the International FOP Association as the charity you want to support. Just 500 of us searching four times a day will raise about $7300 in a year without anyone spending a dime! And, be sure to spread the word!

GoodShop is GoodSearch's shopping extension. Essentially, it lets you shop for items at many popular online stores (like Amazon.com, eBay, Gap and more) and the retailer, in turn, donates a percentage of your sale to the IFOPA! According to the site, a recent $432 purchase at online shoe store Zappos.com earned a specific charity $26 -- you could do the same for the IFOPA!

Just visit www.goodsearch.com, click on the Shopping tab, select the IFOPA as your charity of choice and then click on the online shop links found on that page to access the sites. Then, just buy products as you normally would. The donation will be made automatically after the sale. It's that easy.

Conduct an Event
Join the IFOPA fundraising bandwagon! The IFOPA welcomes the general public to support its FOP fundraising efforts. We also encourage partnership with businesses and groups interested in handling fundraising events that benefit our organization and its goals. For event ideas or assistance, please contact us.

Donate through a Workplace Campaign
Many companies encourage employees to donate to the charity of their choice. Contact your company's Human Resource Department for more information.

Please consider collecting used cell phones and empty printer cartridges within your company to benefit the IFOPA.

This is a simple fundraiser that helps subsidize the IFOPA's budget. The IFOPA utilizes the FundingFactory Recycling Program to recycle collected cartridges and cell phones. The program features FREE prepaid shipping labels, online accounting, and a business component that enables companies and individuals to collect cartridges and cell phones in support of our efforts.

How it works

All laser and inkjet cartridges as well as cell phones collected through this effort are sent to FundingFactory, a company based in Erie, PA, that offers the nationwide recycling program. When the boxes arrive at FundingFactory, the items are inspected and the value for each collected item registers in our online account. The IFOPA will be able to login to its account anytime to view its returns, order more boxes or request a check for our earnings.
