Joining the IFOPA

Membership in the IFOPA is open to anyone with an interest in the IFOPA. People with FOP, family members, friends and professionals belong to our organization. By joining, you will receive copies of our member newsletter, the FOP Connection, and receive all the latest news and information on special events.

Becoming a member is as simple as filling out a form. Annual dues are $25 per year, though we offer sponsored memberships to those who are unable to afford dues.

NOTE: To be approved, persons with FOP must provide confirmation of FOP diagnosis from a medical professional with their application. This includes a medical professional stating in writing that the applicant has (1) characteristic malformations of the great toes, present at birth, and (2) progressive heterotopic (extraskeletal) ossification in characteristic anatomic patterns.
